The Bathing experience is as old as civilization itself.

With all the pressures in our daily lives health, work, relationships, money the list goes on.

The importance of self-care and well-being has become a must.

Throughout history the incorporating of Bathing into our daily routine has become more and more apparent.

The oldest accountable ritual of Bathing can be traced back to ancient India, where taking a bath 2-3 times a day was common practice.

Many Ancient cultures from China, Japan Ancient Greece, through to the Egyptians and most famously the creator's of the communal bath, The Romans.

All would use Bathing as a form of cleansing and relaxation.

They would use an array of Oils, salts, perfumes and incense burning to create a sense of serenity and opulence.

The best known exponent of the Sensual Bathing experience was Cleopatra.

One of history's most beautiful women.

To maintain her beauty and youthful glow she would bathe in donkey milk and honey and infuse the soothing waters with essential oils and flower petals. So it's safe to say that bath's are probably one of the oldest wellness treatments in the world.

Moving onto the modern day, incorporating some elements of these ancient traditions into our daily routines could offer us improved health and well-being.
